Everyone talks about New England in the Fall and I have seen it, but beautiful as it is, I think Old England can hold its own!
And here is the OCTOBER verse of Janice James' poem as promised in my post 'SEPTEMBER'
A YEAR OF VERSES
OCTOBER
Schools reprise, coloured trees,
Conker wars, great outdoors,
Gather logs, 'bye hedgehogs,
Final scene - Hallowe'en,
Soon over - October.
